Back in the day our sales people were busy and had their calendars filled with appointments.

As Bob Dylan sings, “the times they are a changin”. We are long past the days of yellow pages for lead generation in all but the smallest markets. Just a few years ago Search Engine Optimization (SEO) lead the way to traffic. Search Engine Optimization is still a part of the strategy but just a part. Today, success in competitive markets takes a blended mix of organic and paid traffic. This includes search, social and local advertising.

The mobile phone is where the business is. If you are not being found (and I don’t mean when someone calls 411 – they don’t) for the words people 6-10 miles away from your practice are looking for you pretty much don’t exist.

People have to be able to find what they are looking for and contact you, usually with one thumb. Driving. Hey, I don’t make the rules.
